                                                        Dog Show Tips










                                                         When exhibiting dogs, a few basics are necessary to keep in mind
                                                         to be able to present the dog in the best possible manner to the
                                                         judge. Chief among these, is the skill of stacking. It is absolutely a
                                                         skill, one that many either take for granted, or take an inordinately
                                                         fussy approach towards.

                                                         In this video, Will Alexander, a Canadian former professional
                                                         handler, shows us the basics of hard stacking. Mr. Alexander,
                                                         who has only recently retired, is one of those rarefied people
                                                         who has turned this skill into an art form, as evidenced by his
                                                         long and prolific career as a professional. Here, he gives us an
                                                         inking of how he attained such. He gives us tips and tricks, and
                                                         demonstrates how to stack both large dogs, and dogs that need
                                                         to be put on a table, and he does so in a way that is easy to follow.
