The number of litters
that were registered
for 2020, at 23,414
was noticebly higher
the 2019 figure which
was at 22,243. This
marked a consistent
annual increase from
2016 to 2020.
PUPPY REGISTRATION Consistent with the
increase in the num-
ber of litters, the num-
ber of puppies regis-
tered also showed an
upward trend. From
86,293 in 2019, the
number climbed to
92,153 in 2020. While
the absolute number
do vary year by year,
the increase over the
previous years has
been consistent.
