MEMBERS OF THE PCCI COURIER TEAM

One sector of the PCCI family that was hardest hit by the changes brought about by the ECQ was the group
of professionallhandlers and trainers. With the cancellation of dog shows and restrictions imposed on travel
and movement, handlers and trainers found themselves out of work. When the PCCI resumed operations last
June 15, 2020, the volume of applications for registration jumped to unprecedented levels. The PCCI board
saw an opportunity to assist some of the cash-strapped trainers and handlers by offering them the chance to
moonlight as couriers of the various documents that had to be sent back to the members.
When an announcement was made that PCCI needed couriers, trainers/ handlers volunteered and the PCCI
courier team was born.
