019 has been a very successful year for the PCCI in general, and for the Publication
Committee in particular.

2At the start of 2019, the Club staged a very successful Philippine Circuit Show, further
strengthening its reputation in hosting world class canine events. This success started the year
right for the Club, and with a string of other successes, resulted in it achieving one of its most
successful year operationally.

For a number of years, the Publication Committee has been saddled with constraints which led to the
diffi culty of coming out with a quality magazine on schedule. This year marks the successful turnaround.
With the cooperation and diligence of the members of the Committee and the assisting PCCI Staff, the
quarterly magazine was fi nally issued on time for the last two quarters.

It must be borne in mind that preparing for the 4th quarter issue of the PCCI Quarterly Magazine
always puts a strain on the Publication Committee for two major reasons:

• Being the only issue in printed form, it requires considerable
attention to detail in terms of editing and proofreading.
• Preparation time coincides with a period when the PCCI is at its
busiest, when the Club has to prepare for and then stage the
Philippine Circuit Show.
Notwithstanding these constraints, you our dear readers, are holding in
your hands the 4th quarter issue of your magazine. We hope that you will enjoy reading it as
much as we have endeavored to bring it to you in the soonest possible time. Please let us know
how we can better improve the magazine and how it can better address your information needs
regarding the PCCI
and on purebred dogs that we all love.
