Sylvie was campaigned for only one and a half years but in her 2nd year she
ended up being America’s #1 Siberian Husky, both systems for 2012. During that
year, she won numerous Specialty Shows & amassed many Group placements
and All Breeds Best In Show wins. She also won Best of Breed in the prestigious
Westminster Kennel Club Show.
On her journey to the Philippines in 2012, she bagged several Best in Show
wins at the FCI Asia Pacific Shows at the SMX Convention Center hosted by the
PCCI. She won back to back Best in Specialty Shows in 1st & 2nd SHBEAPI
Specialty Shows in Marikina as well. With
all the achievements during her brief trip,
she became PCCI’s #9 Top Dog before
returning back to the USA.
Her last show in the USA was at the
2013 Westminster Kennel Club Show,
where she won Best of Opposite Sex.
After that, she then lived with us & was
shown many times in the Philippines.
During that year we travelled to Thailand,
where she won Best in Specialty Show at
the Siberian Husky National Specialty under
judge Mr.James Fredricksen held at Impact
Convention Center.
Few years went by, during which she did
maternal duties back in the US, after which she
came back home to us. During her last shows
in 2017, although already a veteran, she still
enjoyed the rings and has proven her worth
and retired as PCCI’s #1 Siberian Husky. These
days, she enjoys lounging around the house and
being spoiled by everyone! She is the Queen of
our household.---Adel Dy
