T he Philippine Canine Club, Inc. (“PCCI”) held its Annual General Membership Meeting (“AGMM”) and
Elections via Teleconferencing for the first time.
To assist with this year’s AGMM and Elections, the Board appointed Atty. Rico Paolo R. Quicho, Atty.
Matthew Mortega, and Atty. Lenina Dyanne Binalay to be members of the Election Committee
(“Elecom”) and Atty. Hannah Barrantes to be the Elecom Secretariat.
The conduct of the AGMM and Elections have been a challenge for PCCI because of the logistical
difficulties brought by the COVID-19 pandemic. Nonetheless, the Elecom advised the Board of Directors
that as per Securities and Exchange Memorandum Circular No. 6 Series 2020 (“SEC Memo”), remote
AGMM and Elections are allowed provided that the conduct will be in pursuant to the rules set forth by
the SEC Memo.
