As may be expected, a larger percentage of the foreign exhibitors came from the neighboring countries.
There were a total of 6,840 entries for the 12 all-breed shows. Around 26% of the total were foreign
entries from 22 different countries:

Securing of Import permits for the foreign entries were taken care of by the Philippine Canine Club,
Inc. The Department of Tourism deployed its staff at the airports to provide assistance to all the exhibitors
and guests on their arrival. PCCI was providing free transfer service to all the exhibitors and guests from
and to the airport. Foreign exhibitors do not have to worry about getting for their export permit since
the Bureau of Animal Industry had a booth at the show to facilitate the processing of the export permit.
With the excellent hospitality and assistance being extended to foreign guests and exhibitors, the number
of foreign entries and guests are increasing every year.
